Rhumb Lines - Anthony Deaton
Our Valentines 2002 issue is Rhumb Lines, by Anthony Deaton. This is the first book of poems by a promising young poet. The four eight-page signatures of this book (6.5" x 10") are printed in an edition of 136 copies from handset Bulmer types on dampened Somerset, an English mouldmade paper. It is bound by our collaborator Bradley Naragon. The bindings feature marbled papers by Bradley Naragon and C. Mikal Oness, done in-house in a variety of patterns, and UICB paper case tabs pulled outside of the boards; some tabs in two colors. As with each edition, 10 copies are reserved unbound by the press.
